I can’t stay around, but this may get things going...

Who gets to determine whether or not it’s just?

There have been a number of wars, big and small, throughout history that were fought between Christians. How is the justness of these wars determined?

What is the position of the church on civil wars?

How much collateral damage to innocent people and property is acceptable in a just war.

What happens to Christians if they fight in an unjust war?

Please note, these questions may or may not represent the originators true feelings, they are just questions thrown out there in an attempt to prompt some traffic for you.

It would be interestig to hear how the interpret the story of Jericho and God’s command in other conflicts to leave no-one alive and take no spoils. How about Sampson, Abraham and all the other warriors.

Thanks for all the querries. That should be enough to answer them. I’m going to try to find another thread tonight that addresses this. I know I’ve seen what the Catholic beliefs are, but.......where? LOL!
