Clergy murdered Christ?

Are you talking about the Pharisees and Sadduccees?

The Catholic Clergy of that time would have been the apostles — the followers of Christ — the disciples. You aren’t saying that the apostles and disciples murdered Christ are you?

I know Judas Iscariot betrayed Christ, but I just don’t see clergy being the murderers here.

Actually the Jews didn’t even do it. They may have instigated the Passion and death of Christ, but it was the Roman soldiers who did the actual Crucifixion. So are you saying that Pilate and the Roman soldiers are the murderers/clergy?

There was no Roman Catholic Church at the time.. all believers were Jews.. There was no Mary worship/veneration, no confession to priests.. because there were NO priests.. and the myth of purgatory was a pagan myth as it is now..
