Green Islam?
Pittsburgh Tribuen Review ^ | 7/18/2010 | Mark Musser

Posted on 08/16/2010 8:52:04 AM PDT by Olympiad Fisherman

On June 9, Prince Charles delivered a stunning speech at Oxford wherein he called for a Western pantheistic religious synthesis with Islam to help save the world from the impending environmental catastrophe looming on the apocalyptic horizon.

Shockingly, Charles believes that Islam can play a critical role in bringing back ancient religious traditions that will promote a much-needed check on Western man's unbridled enthusiasm for capitalism, power and money, where science has been inappropriately exploited by commerce since the Industrial Revolution.

Prince Charles presumes that such a course of action will return the Western world to a more reverent attitude toward nature. He thus concluded his speech by quoting an old saying from Islamic nomads -- "The best of all Mosques is Nature herself."

No wonder his mother won’t give the throne to him.

Islam is a green religion - because they eliminate the greenhouse gases breathed out by everyone they kill. Maybe that’s why the left likes them so much.

OMG, I thought his choice for a second wife was bad. Hope the Queen hangs in there a long time more.

Charles is yet another example of how generations of “Blue-Blood” In-Breeding leads to “royals” who are soft in the head.

Useless article.

It doesn't quote even one word from Prince Charles' speech - unless you count its repetition of a Bedouin proverb that Charles used.

When Charles gives up his trappings to go live in a tent, then I’ll listen. But until then, his doctor needs to up his meds.

If the Muslims get their way we’ll all be living in a pre-Industrial Revolution world. Reminds me of someone else’s hope...

An Islamic takeover of the Earth would result in the deaths of hundreds of millions of people, and a regression back to the stone age, so Charles’s lunacy might be true. I prefer progress.

The synthesis of Islam and leftist ideals will be the conditions described in Revelation. Islam has its apocalypse, except they’re on the wrong side.

There’s a good question as to whether Charles is even legally qualified to be king. In the early eighteenth century, to resolve the bloody issues around the monarch’s religion, as shown by the English Civil War, the Glorious Revolution, and the Stewarts’ unfortunate (at the time) yen for Catholicism, Parliament passed an Act of Settlement (IIRC), which provided that only a Protestant could be the English monarch. Charles has gone so far down the road toward Islam and Gaia worship that it appears he’s violating that statute.

It’s been talked about for some time now in the rumor mill that Charles, always prone to silliness, is rapidly losing it.

This article is an abbreviated version from this one posted here at http://www.theignorantfishermen.com/2010/06/prince-and-his-green-islamo-fascist.html & then here at http://www.usasurvival.org/docs/islamo_fascism.pdf. The Pittsburgh Tribune Review asked me to shorten it down to 800 words, which was a monumental undertaking, and the quotes necessarily went by the wayside as I was forced to summarize them in my own words. Don’t worry, I read the entire speech here http://www.princeofwales.gov.uk/speechesandarticles/a_speech_by_hrh_the_prince_of_wales_titled_islam_and_the_env_252516346.html.

All the best,

Mark

If Charlie thinks that Islam is so non materialistic, then he should spend sometime in places I've been like Dubai and Bahrain where everyone has money to satisfy their materialistic desires.

I shall never forget the sight of palatial buildings in Dubai which make New York's Fifth Avenue look like a cheesy strip mall by comparison. Nor shall I forget the site of two Saudi businessmen in an airport lounge in Dubai quaffing down Heineken beers at such a rapid rate that it would make the average frat house bash in America look like a meeting of the WCTU.

Most Muslims (think Pakistan) are dirt poor because their seventh century religion keeps them in poverty. In the places where oil money makes them rich, its a totally different story.

Dear Citizen M,

Believe it or not, but Prince Charles is not doing well with his second marriage - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1290439/Why-Charles-Camilla-living-separate-lives.html.

Dear Yet Again,

There is no doubt that Green enviros and Islam have the same mutual feelings about the progress of the Industrial Age.

Dear Vigilanteman,

While most Mulsims hate western materialism, they are completely steeped in religious materialism where the place of worship, geography, physical rituals and the like are more important than how they acutally behave and live. In other words, their religious materialism is covered up in religious mysticism, something which even many Christians have a hard time sorting out, even though the Bible strongly teaches in both the Old and New Testaments that God is far more concerned with how people live than with whether or not they fulfill certain religious rites in the exact location (1 Samuel 15:22-23; Hebrews 10:1-14).

We can only hope.
Although I learn a lot from genealogy, it’s been a while since I read any of the biographies of the royalty, so I’ll have to take you at your word.
It sounds logical, though, so I’m thinking Wills is to be the next King. Who’d want Camilla for a consort, anyway?
