Only God can delegate the authority to act in his Holy Name.

Nope; again!

ANYONE can "take on the authority to act in GOD's name".

It does not PROVE that GOD actually GAVE the 'authority'.

Excellent. Now we are making some progress.

By what authority is a valid question. How do you prove that God gave someone the authority to speak or act in His Name?

Do we look toward tradition, popularity, the powers of Mammon or to the Bible?

What does the Bible say?

Hebrews 5:4 is profoundly accurate:

Hebrews 5:4

Only God can grant authority to speak or act for God.
