The only way to God is through Jesus.

And through whom did Jesus come?

Come on, man! You're putting a bullseye on yourself!

Mary wasn’t divine as far as I know, nor part of the holy trinity

The incarnate Jesus came through Mary, and Mary's mother, and Mary's grandmother, and Mary's great-great grandmother, and.....

If you are going to extol Mary based on being part of Jesus' lineage, then you had better be prepared to extol the entire line to the same extent. Bullseye back atcha.

“And from whom did Jesus come? LOL. That was about as weak a come back as I have seen.

First, I don’t care who Catholics pray through. It’s their thing.

But, Mary was not born into a divine nature nor given any special powers.

She was Jesus’ mother and never performed any works that would indicate God had chosen her for more than birthing Christ.

Jesus, on the other hand, was born of a divine nature and came by and from God, a spirit made flesh.

Mary was flesh and will one day be spirit.

Jesus existed with God the Father and the Holy Spirit before they created everything in this world and the heavens. Just because he entered a point in time through a human being does not make that human being THE PERSON Jesus ‘came from’.

Jesus is not a created being He is God, part of the infinite Triune God. You elevate the temporal vessel He chose to enter into the physical world in, above this fact, it is terribly sad.

And through whom did Jesus come?

Jesus "was" at creation. "Before Abraham..."

Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem. Is the donkey a "co-redeemer" like Mary?

Should I start looking for images of a donkey on my grilled cheese sandwiches? Perhaps we should found a mission, "Our Donkey of Guadalupe."
