I have been to the Shrine on many occasions - my daughter's high school graduation was held there and I have sung there several times in choirs. Here's a pic, not from one of my visits but snagged off the net:

What a beautiful basilica. I spent a few hours after mass one Sunday just visiting all the holy spaces in it and still haven’t seen it all.

I have some beautiful photos I took of Christ Pantocrater and Our Lady of Aloising, Bavarian Madonna. It is built to remind one of heaven and it certainly is a heavenly place.
I’ll be very happy to return.

I don’t know how to post photos though.

I’ve been to the Shrine twice. Once with my husband, and we went to Mass. Second time with my father, and we took “the tour.”

I could move in there and do nothing but pray until I starved to death. It is a wonderful church.
