This case got me interested, so I did a search for more details. These two were not doing something like praying for an ill co-worker to get better. Per the court document, they were having "difficulties" with a co-worker, and were praying at the co-worker's cubical to rid her of "demonic possession".

In another article

In an e-mail to supervisors, the male co-worker said he was invited to witness the praying and cleansing but became uncomfortable when Shatkin began to chant loudly and rub perfumed oil on the absent co-worker's cubicle wall. The man quoted Shatkin as praying, "You vicious evil dogs. Get the hell out of here in the name of Jesus. ... I command you to leave."
If somebody had a problem with me, and responded by claiming I was possessed by demons, and doing a freaking EXORCISM in my workplace, I would find that to be harassing conduct, disturbing, and slanderous, and would want them out of there as well.

I'd rather have someone praying for an exorcism than shouting "Allahu Akhbar" and opening fire, which *also* happened in Texas.

Cheers!
