Our Charism
The foundress of our Community one day heard in her heart the words of Our Lord, “My people do not know Me. Those who were to give witness to Me no longer do so.” With these words she also felt the deep sadness in the heart of Our Lord Who has been left alone and abandoned by so many of His specially chosen ones. From that time on she felt called to give explicit witness to the reality of the living God and to do all that she could to make Him known, loved and adored in His Church and in His Eucharistic Presence.
Thus, the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are called to be enfolded in the Eucharistic Heart of Christ. There, in His Heart, we are called to contemplate Him and His great Love, to give Him due adoration, praise and thanksgiving and to console and make reparation to Him for those who have abandoned Him, and for those who offend Him in His Church and in the Sacrament of His Love.
