“Is this because they don’t have Bibles at home?”
Most do have Bibles at home. And how would a missal at Mass have anything to do with a Bible not being at home? Do pew Bibles exist in Protestant churches because Protestants don’t have Bibles at home? My gosh, the bigotry among anti-Catholics is amazing.
“I live in a RC majority area. My children have attended RC high schools. The only place I have ever encountered RC’s that say they read their Bibles regularly is here.”
That hasn’t been my experience with Catholics at all. But it has been my experience with Protestants - the only place I have found where Protestants claim to read the Bible is here on FR and other websites. In my personal life I have rarely encountered Protestants who read scripture. I live in a majority Protestant area. Actually I always have.
“I have never met a RC that has a regular Bible study, or Bible group, at their home.”
We normally do that at the parish. Until I recently moved we had a Lectio divina group at a parish after Mass. The leader was a former Protestant minister. When I visited there again recently I met the two newest members - two converts from Protestantism.
“Why would you blindly follow whatever a priest gave you.”
When and where did I ever claim to do that? I think you’re claiming to read my mind and you’re wrong anyway.
“It is your responsibility to know the Scriptures.”
And I do know them. I probably know them better than you do.
Yes, complete versions so visitors who may not have their Bibles with them can follow along.

Clearly it's time for some to run off to their caucus threads.
