I believe the age of the Laodicean Church began around 1900. This is the first and only church age that's marked by Christ being on the OUTSIDE of the church, knocking to anyone who will let Him in. Revelation 3:20.

Facts of the age we're living in bear this out. Much of the "Church" denies Christ and the age as a whole has basically rejected the claims of Christ and the Bible. This is the first and only age to do so since Christ.

This is also the last age before the Day of the Lord, the Tribulation, and the setting up of Christ's rule on earth.
