Your Jesus is not my Jesus. Your Jesus is mean, stingy, small, and condemning.

On this, we can agree. You have the Jesus Christ of Joseph Smith's imagination and I have the Jesus Christ of Holy Scripture. Did your Jesus say this?

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The Jesus of Holy Scripture also warned that many false teachers would come in His name. But I guess only because He is "mean, stingy, small, and condemning." Too bad He couldn't join yours in singing a round of Kumbaya but He is more concerned that people avoid eternal damnation than wrongly feel good about themselves.

I'm still waiting to hear your definition of a cult.
