I don’t believe the Vampire Biting is really a “Twilight” phenomena. We’ve discussed this Biting and other Vampire activities for years before Twilight was written. There was a whole Vampire culture similar to the Goth set long before now.
And in fact, there is nothing in any of the Twilight books that would suggest that biting is a form of endeerment; it is portrayed as savage, brutal, and inflicting tremendous pain on the victim. None of the vampires who are couples in the book EVER bite each other for any reason, much less to show affection.
So in the end, I do not think we can blame the Twilight saga for teenagers biting each other.

He's a "busy" exorcist requesting many more priests to help out (he's recently written a book as incentive to them), in part because of these movies/books. They can be a springboard into a further look-see of the occult.
I think it really began with Ann Rice and Interview with a Vampire.
Nevertheless, it is encouraging it.
There's little new under the sun, but all it takes is some movie to escalate some twisted new fad.
This glorifying vampires is very troubling. There's nothing good that comes from the occult or getting involved with it, but Satan would like us to think that it's harmless so makes it seem so innocent and fun.
