Featured Term (selected at random):
In general, an act of the mind affirming or denying something. Philosophically, judgment is the mental act of combining two ideas in affirming their agreement, e.g., God is good, or separating them in denying their agreement, e.g., God is not evil. In ethics, judgment is a right decision about what is just or proper or prudent. It is also the decision of a superior in a natural society (such as the State) or a supernatural society (such as the Church), prescribing what should be done or administering justice.

Catholic Word of the Day Ping!
Please send me a FReepmail if you would like to be on the Catholic Word of the Day Ping List.
God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ IN heaven will alone judge all from the books which God the Father keeps in heaven [His books, no one else's books]. One of these books contains all the "works" which men and women perform during their life on earth. good works alone will not get anyone into heaven. We must first be called and chosen before the foundation of the world [Ephesians]
Now look what happens to those so called good workers, and commandment follows today:
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Matthew 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Matthew 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Matthew 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
