I confess that I have this thread bookmarked, and cannot claim to need a ping each morning, but I would love to be on the list, if it's not too late.

thx - glad I checked FR before heading to WallyWorld! Yesterday’s memories aren’t up yet. Yes, I know it’s 11 o’clock.

Some things can’t be rushed .... I’ve been up long enough for my first nap.

LOL.
At least during these 9 days, so far I have found myself reading it more than once a day.

So I think I must say that He will supply the deficiencies of our Love for Him and for the Truth who is His Son. It's our place to pray and to praise, to beg and to thank. And really, this Litany is all about that, about asking Him to give us what we need to do what He wants. A very well phrased statement, sir.

Thanks.
It’s actually nancy who came up with one of our family prayers: Lord give us what we need to do what you want.
I think it’s perfect.

"This is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
(Of course the newer translations have it as, "on this day, the Lord has acted," which is probably right, but I grew up with the other one -- okay, except for the growing up part.)
Ping to day four.
I took the liberty of pinging some people who did not ask to be pinged. If I done wrong, Well, exCYOOZE MOI! no, seriously, let me know and I will remove you from the list of pings.

Steyn is like all the best days of P.J. O’Rourke, crossed with Emmett Tyrrel and a little Thomas Sowell.
It’s okay with me if you go back to bed, but what about your dog?
