YOU were the one who brought up Alexander VI and I don't think there is anything in my post that can be construed as defending him. And yet, per the Catholic Church's own proclamations, if Alexander VI did decree ex-cathedra dogmas, you would still be bound today to obey them. The whole inerrant, infallible and Holy Spirit empowered role of the pope. Am I wrong? Who elected this guy anyway???
