For several years those who spoke out against Mormonism or tried to counter their proselytizing either had their posts removed or were banned completely.Mormons would deliberately draw us into making some kind of rejoinder to their lies, then hit abuse. One in particluar was particularly adept at that sneakiness.
We lost some good FReeper friends back then.

I was almost one of them. I gave up freep for a couple of years because I hated that I couldn’t speak my mind.
