Sadly that is true. I trained under the head sommelier of Spago’s (when it opened and sommelier of the year nationally in the late 1980’s) and it is frustrating when you are one of a few who know wines.
Maybe I will get my sommelier certification next...degrees make great wallpaper.

I will be doing a special dinner on the Fourth. There might be ten; there might be fifty. My Coq au Vin is unique in that I use liberal amounts of Sherry in addition to red.
