Yeppers Sweetie

Cheesecake, and the semolina cookies

we’ll put a permanent order with that Lebanese restaurant for those and anything else...

Since we are on the ground floor and therefore in charge of everything Earth bound...

We’ll be selling those many stupid mormon temples...I think we could get a couple of bucks for them from some African country that wants to move a few hundred thousand of their people in......

So we’ll have some loose change...

Plus we can always charge the morg for sundries...

They have to feed us..etc

But why they want to leave us in charge of the kitchen of all places I dont know...

and to deprive themselves of cheesecake and other goodies...

oh well they’ll be too busy upstairs doing mormon god things to eat...

and we cant go up there to cart food and drink to them anyway...

Where do you conjure up all this boogie man stuff...

You are too much with the world and not enough to let go and let God!

I do fall in the “Protestant” camp, though, and am acquainted with many people who are quite bothered by crosses showing the Crucifixion. To them, and to me I suppose although I’m not quite so strident about it, such a cross glorifies death and verges upon denying Resurrection.

I believe that the Orthodox wear cross icons showing a crucified Christ, but a flat image, not carved. I also believe that the Orthodox place more emphasis on the Resurrection than Western churches, so they would not believe that a (flat) crucifix glorifies His death overmuch. However, I don't want to speak for the Orthodox when I also fall into the "Protestant" camp.

.....”Joseph Smith claimed that he had seen both God the Father and Jesus Christ and asked these personages which church he should join.”.........

Now that statement pretty much tells me this man was either insane or a lier...perhaps both.

Using the word “personages” is very deceptive, rather like the Democrates soft selling their demonic ideas and agendas.

But why the focus on the garden?

Sure Christ knew what was soon to occur...but He did move forward to his mission and ultimate sacrifice....the cross.......Without the cross, no matter the struggle in the garden, there would be no salvation at all.

But if someone wanted to eliminate the garden event...yet He still went to the cross..salvation would still have been sealed non the less.

Well true Jesus did do that...but sweat is not blood...he didn’t sweat to death...he was crucifed, bled and died on a cross. Can they not see the difference? It’s not hard to understand.

Perhaps the better question might be just what does the book of morman have which is not already written in the bible?

Good question. There’s plenty of information about doctrine, history, prophecy. You really have to read it to see. I’ll provide a link to a chapter that discusses baptism as an example:

I don’t read your propaganda just to let you know

You are in good company.

MORMONisms founder did not read or obey the bible either.
