The natural drive for power, or the tendency to dominate the love object. Basic urge that needs to be sublimated by divine grace in order to grow in humility, which controls the drive for power, and in charity, which seeks to sacrifice self for the one who is loved.

I wholeheartedly agree. There is a true obsession with power in any and all forms today. It makes for a really obnoxious day.
