Excellent article !
The first of Tishrei (the Feast of Trumpets)
begins a sundown on the 8th of September this year.
Jerusalem is seven hours ahead of Eastern Time Zone.
The only thing I would add is trumpets are sounded
every morning of Elul and the trumpet of the
Feast of Trumpets is thus the Last Trump.
