I wasn’t aware of anything happening with the Agnus Dei either.

Oh, we had a youth choir this last weekend for all the Masses. Although inexperienced, they made up for it in offerings of inspiration and live music.

NO pre-recorded music! Hooray. And we have an organist who has started a choir that does more traditional hymns, although she sometimes reverts to present Music Director’s wishes on choices of Haas, Schuette, et al, music.

Our priest had been in the parish five years now and the axes is starting to fall on the guitar and pre-recorded music. Prayers still needed, however.

The transition in music styles can be very traumatic. It’s kind of a “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” sort of thing.
