I guess this sums up the church position. Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved.

John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 10:9 “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,

Romans 5:2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:18 for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

Hebrews 10:20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh,

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

This is what the Catholic Church teaches. Your point is?

My apologies! I forgot to post this from a couple of previous threads on the Blessed Virgin Mary.

From a previous thread:

From the earliest of Church Councils (the Council of Rome, 993; defined by the Council of Trent) the distinction was made between worship and honor. Catholics believe that worship is due to God alone. Catholics honor those saints who have gone before us as a sign of faith and victory in living the Christian life.

And from another previous thread:

The truths about Mary are important because they are still truth, since they are based in the Bible. But they are not central to the primary gospel message of our salvation through Jesus Christ.
