With all due respect, pets are not children.
To each their own.
No, by definition.
Once again, to each his own, you go your way, I go mine’s. Thank-you.
Thank-you for your help.
Only birth of a child makes one a mother.
Aren’t you the animal’s caretaker instead?
And I DO mean the mothers of boys and girls — not animals.

If youd like to use the comments to give your mom a shout-out today ... please do!
Lets all join in prayers of thanksgiving for the gift of our mothers and our motherhood today:
Father in heaven,
grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you conferred on me.
Let me realize that not even the angels have been blessed with such a privilege to share in your creative miracle and bring new saints to heaven.
Make me a good mother to my children after the example of Mary,
the mother of your Son.
Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary,
I ask your continued blessings on my family.
Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven.
Amen.
They are my companions and part of my family.
I want to extend to ALL the mothers out there, starting with my mother and my boyfriend David’s mother, as well as to include all the animal companion pet mothers a GOOD and BLESSED MOTHER’S DAY! :)=^..^=
There are those who mother, not just only those who have given birth, but adopt and those mentor as well.
There are those who mother, not just only those who have given birth, but those who adopt and mentor (human children) as well.
(Animal husbandry doesn’t count.)
Yep, my sister is a mother, but gave the child up for adoption and never got that opportunity to “mother” as you say.
God Bless ALL the mothers out there, be it by birth, adoption, or rescue!
Plus God Bless all those women, be they mothers or not who mentor others.
