My father is going in for surgery Thursday to treat a brain aneurism. He was very lucky in that they found it two weeks ago, before any bleeding. He is going to have a coil inserted into the aneurism, which if successful should stop any chance of bleeding. However the aneurism is on the brain stem, and there are risks that the surgery could cause a rupture.
At the same time, the father of my bride was diagnosed with cancer in his small intestines. The cancer has spread to his liver and spleen, and has blocked the bile duct of his liver. My father in law has been fighting Krohn's disease now for thirty years, and has some serious complications from Krohn's that will make any treatment of the cancer very complicated. He is meeting with the oncologist to discuss treatment options. To be honest it does not look good.
Please pray for both of them. Thank you.

May the Lord Who Heals (Jehovah Rapha, I think)touch these two men. I too had an aneurysm in 1990, and I’m sure that treatment has advanced even further since then. Thank God they caught it before it leaked.
