The Church has always had a small number of priests and other religious who have taken advantage of their positions of authority and influence in order to gain sexual favors or to take advantage of the helpless. The problem of clerical child sexual molestation, particularly in the United States, has been widely exposed and publicized over the last several years. The numerous recent revelations have exposed the problem as much deeper and more widespread than most would have previously believed.
During the current crisis, homosexual activists within and outside the Catholic Church have done everything they could to divert attention away from even the possibility that there may be a higher percentage of homosexuals among the priesthood than in the general public, and that this may be the root of the problem of child sexual molestation within the Church. It is particularly the link between homosexuality and child molestation that they seek to deny.
For example, Dignity USA kicked off its “Stop Blaming Gay Priests” campaign during the meeting of the United States Catholic Bishops Conference in Washington, D.C., November 10-13, 2002. The group said, “DigntyUSA [sic] is calling on the U.S. Catholic bishops to stop blaming gay priests for the clergy sexual abuse scandal. All credible evidence discounts any link between the molestation of children and homosexuality.”1

Yes, that would have been a better path, had it been possible. However, corruption prevails wherever principles are compromised.
In one of the appendices of The 5000 Year Leap, the society and structure of Anglo Saxons is discussed. Their society lasted from shortly after the Roman exodus from England, until the Norman invasions, or about 500 years. For some reason, their few simple guiding principles included the death penalty for homosexuality (along with severe penalties for treason, betrayal of one's tribe, etc.). Of all possible crimes to put on the top of the list, a reader has to wonder, "why that one?"
Gramsci advocated a "long march through the institutions", whereby communists would infiltrate every organization of society, over a long period of many decades, until every organization in that society is led and controlled by people who share communist ideals and objectives. This includes schools, religions, civic organizations, government agencies, businesses, the markets, the military, sports, and on and on, wherever people interact with other people within that society. This has been done. Homosexuality is simply one of the tools used to corrupt people and organizations, along with money, power, prestige; whatever it takes to compromise individuals and coerce them into the collective group-think machine.
The malignant cancer of corruption has spread to every possible organization, and none of those organizations are going to "fix" themselves; none of those organizations are going to "fix" indivuals. If any return to civilization is to happen, it will have to be led by individuals with integrity and principles, then by families, then by groups of families, then communities, and so on. First we have to get through this coming Dark Age thingee.

Pedophilia and same-sex attraction disorder are two different mental illnessses. It is very important to distinguish between them, because the sodomactivists are pursuing a strategy that depends on (1) defining teenagers as children, (2) calling those who molest them “pedophiles,” then (3) insisting that those molesters are therefore pedophiles and not homosexuals.
Defining teenagers as children and those who molest them as pedophiles plays right into that strategy.
In fact, any man who desires other males of any age is suffering from SSAD. He may or may not suffer from pedophilia in addition. If he does, he goes after pre-pubescent boys; if not, he goes after teenagers.

What? After the ACLU went to all that trouble to make sure every organization that deals with children would have to hire gays and lesbians? Don't stop them now; they're right in the middle of "normalizing" transgenders to work with the kids!
