Catholic Word of the Day: DILEMMA, 04-29-10
CatholicReference.net ^ | 04-29-10 | Fr. John Hardon's Modern Catholic Dictionary

Featured Term (selected at random):

DILEMMA

Choice between two alternatives that are equally inevitable or undesirable. Christ more than once faced his opponents with a dilemma, e.g., "if it is through Beelzebub that I cast out devils, through whom do your own experts cast them out? Let them be your judges, then. But if it is through the Spirit of God that I cast devils out, then know that the Kingdom of God has overtaken you" (Matthew 12:27-28).

Christ always had the right words in these sitiuations. Unfortunately, my response with the correct words seems to come minutes or even hours later. LOL!

Excepting some of those times as a mother -- the words and the actions were right there. Thank you, Holy Spirit!
