Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem~A Psalm For Today

Psalm 122

1. I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2. Our feet shall stand within thy gates,
O Jerusalem.

3. Jerusalem is builded as a city
that is compact together:

4. Whither the tribes go up,
the tribes of the LORD,
unto the testimony of Israel,
to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

5. For there are set thrones of judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.

6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
they shall prosper that love thee.

7. Peace be within thy walls,
and prosperity within thy palaces.

8. For my brethren and companions' sakes,
I will now say,
Peace be within thee.

9. Because of the house of the LORD our God
I will seek thy good.

Lord, As these prayers reach your ear we ask that you be mindful of the enemy of mankind who is moving swiftly now across the world stage. We ask you step into this time of History...of such uncertainty and fear.. as nations align themselves against you and those you have called your own.

Evil seems to have taken ground in all nations and leaderships are determining positions of war. Though these may only be the first stages they are troubling Lord. Remind us that it is you who raise up leaders... and the nations are a “drop in the bucket” in your eyes...and yet we live amidst all this churning taking place now.

We ask for hearts that seek you now...use these times to draw to yourself all those who have yet not come, and equip us all to discern rightly these times according to your plan and will......Amen

I just have received TWO FReepmails stating that the year 5770 is calculated from the Day of Creation, NOT the Giving of the Law.

Since I have heard it interpreted both ways, I looked it up.

The Internet seems to go with Creation.

Of Course we are talking about INTERPRETATION rather than Actual Scripture, so There You Go. LOL.

(personally, i think my original interpretation makes more sense, but since we live in a Republic, I’ll go with the majority on this one!)LOL

You are SO right about the "enemy of the whole world!"
I realize that every generation believes they are living in the most significant of times,
And always there are scoffers as well.
And yet, as I look at the events now,
It seems that at no time previously have SO MANY of HaShem's words have come together in such a way in so many places in so many ways as now.

Thank You for your beautiful and heartfelt prayer,
which is so Aware of the Present Situation,
And I hope you will come back often to share your prayers and insights with us!

We must be mindful that the Lord can slow this all down at will.....he certainly slowed down the whole pace of Europe recently via a volcano....not wise to underestimate His resource's and the affects as He moves. Though I am speculating here...I do think there was devilish things happening in Europe of recent, and that this volcano slowed that down....not necessarily to stop, but the timing of Gods planes can never be escalated ahead of Him no matter the desires of men and leaderships. If the enemy moves too fast He will indeed intervene.....it is all about His timing.

Our eyes should be on Israels movements and the nations positions concerning her....but our hearts should be directed toward Him in the midst of this troubling time.

Yes. The timing of God's plans (or PLANES LOL!)can definitely be slowed down , as we saw last week!

Interestingly enough, the earth opened up, spewing forth fire, brimstone and ash, almost immediately after a certain someone said something to the effect of

"Well, I just signed this bill, and I don't see Armageddon! I don't see fire falling from the sky or the earth opening up! hahaha!"

Of Course, we all know WHO that certain Someone IS, but that's for another thread.

I think it’s important not to put a lot of weight into anything Bo says on the world stage at this juncture.....though nations will give him lip service, what he has proven is the United States will not be playing a large roll in the decisions nations are making now, other than to continue to disarm and neutralize us.
