Joe Biden the cussing Catholic

By now everyone in San Diego has surely heard of Joe Biden's well-publicized remark to President Obama after the U.S. House of Representatives passed HR 3962, The Affordable Health Care for America Act, when Biden turned to embrace Barack and said "This is a big (expletive) deal!" Joe Biden, known for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, is also known as a practicing Catholic - recently seen with a smudge of ash on his forehead from Ash Wednesday. So far Joe Biden, the cussing Catholic, has yet to apologize to the American people, or, as far as we know, to the President of the United States, or to anyone else.

Keep in mind, this was done in the White House, in front of cameras, in front of microphones he had just used to introduce the President, in front of the Press and all who may have been present, and so far no one in Washington cares enough to apologize in an attempt to right the wrong. Therein lies a big part of the problem. Does Cussing Joe not even realize that what he did was wrong? How devout is this Catholic from whom expletives flow, seemingly oblivious to the fact that cussing is against the faith he professes to believe in? ...

No offense, but what is up with all these Catholics in Congress? Pelosi, Stupak, Sanchez, Dingel, Oberstar, Rangel,Kucinich, Perriello? All of them voted in favor of abortion. What gives?

They give themselves a little escape hatch: “the well-formed concience is the ultimate arbiter”. (They then fail to actually develop a well-formed conscience.)
Also, there is the “personally opposed but” my own beliefs shouldn’t color things when my constituents’ views are something else.
Also, there is the fact that you will never rise in the Democratic Party in places like California if you don’t say you are pro-choice. So, it’s cave in or never arise above city council member.
Also, there is the “big-picture”— I’m saving more lives by being against war, poverty, sexism. I can make abortion “rare” and save lives by providing government assistance where needed.

I think that’s “what gives”.

Biden is not a REAL Catholic. Otherwise he would not be a dimocrat.

He is only a CINO — Catholic in Name Only.

Sorry to disappoint you.
