Decades ago, the founders of that sect rejected the doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, were excommunicated, and then started their own religion.

The TRUTH is that the Salt Lake City MORMONs were afraid of the mighty US Governmant (and wanted to be a state) and REJECTED the Word of the LORD found in their own SCRIPTURES - D&C 132.

At THAT point in time the POLYGAMOUS folks were THROWN out for FOLLOWing the scripture.

They did NOT start a NEW religion, but conTINUED in what JS, BY etal set in motion.

To claim otherwise is indicative of gross deception.

You mean to tell me that the “TRUE Church” received revelation that D&C 132 was no longer holy writ?

How can that be? It’s still there, in their CURRENT scriptures.
