Mormon church gives first lady volume of family history
WASHINGTON -- For the second time in less than a year, Mormon church leaders have met with a President Barack Obama family member in the White House to present a volume of history.
First lady Michelle Obama was presented with a volume of her family history Wednesday morning by Elder Dallin H. Oaks of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
Also participating was Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.
In July, Mormon church President Thomas S. Monson joined Elder Oaks and Reid in presenting the U.S. president with his family history.
"Last year, the church compiled several volumes for President Barack Obama," Reid said. "This year, I thank Elder Oaks for sharing our faith's tradition of genealogical research with the first lady and her family.
"This documentation of their lineage will be cherished and passed on for future generations," he said. "I am honored that the church can play a part in documenting the history of the first family."

But what if those records are inaccurate as you suggest? What if you do the Temple ordinances and seal someone to the wrong family. What if you baptize for the dead under the wrong name, and that person is stuck in Spirit Prison waiting for someone who can type decently enough to get it correct? What then? You're wasting your time Resty. These people seem so bitter that, as they assume everything about your religion is a lie, there is certainly no way possible work done by Mormons in the field of geneology can be in any way, shape or form accurate. lol. Wow.

But I suppose you think the exhibiters of the Dead Sea Scrolls are a bunch of liars and charlatons, right?

Not at all, I am good friends with Risa Levitt Cohen (curator of the SD exhibit) and she is personally appalled at the LDS misinterpreting the data to support their ‘fairy tales’.
She says that nothing there supports Mormon doctrine in any way and laughed hysterically when I told her.
The LDS pseudo-archaeologists are the liars and charlatans.

She said it herself. Repeating what she said isn’t lying.
I don’t know why the Mod puts up with your flouting of the rules.

What is imporatant for now is that act of doing ones best and if there are issues it will get resolved no need to worry about it it will all work out in the thousand years of peace!
To: restornu
So what happens if you just wait until the thousand years of peace to do the saving works for the dead? If by what you say, then the records will be accurate.

CC, I actually
like an Invincibly Ignorant standard he came up with a few years ago on an FLDS FR thread. I think we can adopt it as our new interactive guideline w/certain posters:
You took a tone with me dude. I owe you nothing. Source: Faith of our Fathers (FLDS) post #22.
