We cannot answer the phone before it rings, but we sure can decide whether to answer it after it does ring. Or we can decide to unplug it and refuse to receive another call. Or we can wait for the next call. It’s up to us.
Well, my Mom claims that she and my sisters have some kind of ESP since, we will be thinking of each other for days, then one or the other calls, and we say, "I knew you were going to call me, I've been thinking about you!" ;o)
