“What was the “sister” doing...pounding on the guy’s door? Claiming the guy was going to hell because he wouldn’t join the mormon church? “
You know better than that. She is volunteering 18 months of her life to love and serve in Germany. She is a hero to me. I love her very much and am grateful for her sacrifices. LDS Missionaries are always loving and kind. That’s what they do. They are representing the Savior in a very hostile world.
The tone of this thread has sunk to the bottom of the mire. Too bad.
LDS Missionaries are always loving and kind.

RIIIGHHHT. Who has the pics of the LDS missionaries desecrating a Catholic chapel?
lol
a bucket of water from an unidentifed individual = persecution.
Having lived in Germany for 5 years, I found native germans respectful. Moslem emmigrants on the other hand were something else. They thought nothing about throwing rocks or other things at Americans - so it is likely your ‘sister’ was ‘persecuted’ for being an American. Since the water incident wasn’t linked to witnessing - it has even less effect.
Actually no, they are not. They are an expertly trained sales force representing the LDS Inc.
That all of these young people are aware of that or not is debatable, that many are brainwashed is not.
I'm sure that they are...

They are pleasant and smile at the door, but like I said before, when I tell them I read the Bible and have a church I like that I regularly attend, they still INSIST on leaving literature. I wouldn't go as far as to say loving and kind because all they've ever done is preach at me. They've never gone out of their way to show love or kindness.
I've tried turning it down and they just won't accept it. So now I take it and say thank you and feed it to the paper shredder as soon as they're gone.
If that's the kind of persistence that this guy encountered from them, then I understand his frustration and they're really lucky that nobody has done worse to them yet.
