Yep, just as you documented GF, the story morphs with each telling. When my kids did that - I knew from the start they were lying.
Also note that it also morphed from a church requiring ‘works’ down to a couple of associates stating Christianity required ‘works’. Inability to keep a story straight is evidence of - just that - fiction, not fact.
