Call it "shameless self-promotion" if you will, but, hey, somebody's got to do it. We're looking for a shot as a musical guest on Mike Huckabee's Fox Show on Holy Saturday with a song about the Resurrection called "That Rock Is Gonna Roll". Folks can hear it on the music player at http://www.emmettgrayson.com/ and there's also a link there to Huckabee's production staff. It is perfect placement for this particular song to carry the message that He died and yet He Lives. The single most important part of our faith is that He didn't stay dead.
So, yes, I'm asking FReepers to help us annoy Huckabee enough to invite us on to do it. If you'd be kind enough to give it a listen and send an e-mail, we might be able to bring this song to people - in spite of the Music Row executives.
Does http://www.emmettgrayson.com make it a clickable link? There we go. I have no idea why that didn’t work in the body of the post. My apologies and thanks for your patience.
Well, failing to capitalize a person’s name is probably a bad start.
Do you have an online recording of the song? I went to your website and found the lyrics, but not the song.
There’s a “music player” thing on the side with a menu to scroll to the title
A typo for which I humbly apologize. I was having a hard enough time trying to figure out how to make the link clickable.
Hey, Emmett, Tom said there’s a country-western group on Huckabee RIGHT NOW VERY SOON that is going to sing a song against the president ... they’ve already sung one, that was more typical I think, but the next one will be on shortly ...
Drat, there was no last song ... Tom had that wrong; sorry about that ... evidently, they sang it at the beginning of the show ...
