The first part of your first sentence is where you use the "qualifier". After the comma is where you state what you purport to be the effect of Godzilla's ability to analyze. You are stating that his purported inability to properly analyze data is the cause for his no longer being in the military.

The "Dishonorable Discharge, eh?" question stands on its own. You are now applying an assumption that he rec'd said discharge for his purported inability to perform his job when there is no evidence to support your accusation.
