for me - is that from the cross itself,

Christ NEEDED the seven corporal works of mercy from us, and

Christ PERFORMED the seven spiritual works of mercy for us.

[Salvation]

Never thought of it that way.....but it is so true. Something for me to ponder as I go about some errands.
