Welcome. Shawn is great and there are several of us here to watch him, hence the thread. Feel free to join us.

I have really enjoyed watching him grow in the Lord the last few years and the ministry is doing great things.

I watch him on the net from time to time. My girlfriend from Utah told me about him, around a year or so ago. God is using him mightily.

I watch him online as well. Shawn and I have several mutual friends and they were the ones who told me about him.

And being ex-mormon myself, there is a lot I can learn and relate to.

Shawn is talking about the Capstone conference next week in SLC. I wish I was able to go. It is going to be great.

Tonight’s topic - Biblical references used by the LDS to ‘prove’ the Book of Mormon.

Great show, a couple of callers asking for proof the BoM is false and is coffee a sin.

Shawn went in depth explaining how the verses that the LDS use to show the BoM is not contextually correct.

Great reference show.

It is a shame you can’t stream it.

I was kinda hoping he would pimp this thread though.

actually the last two callers

but the last one is sooooo typical of the mormons encountered here. Can’t handle the truth.

Exactly. I facepalmed through both those callers. It was like being on a thread here. Same accusations, same ‘proof’, same arguments, same testimonkey. Sigh.

And they all think that they are the first ones to come up with it and we haven’t heard it before. I feel for Shawn.
