The mention of Jesus' brothers makes it pretty difficult to believe in Ever-Virgin.
They're not kids of Mary as:
1. If yes, then Jesus would not have asked John to look after Mary (in Middle Eastern culture, it is the duty of the next son/son-in-law to take care of the mother, to violate this would have been violating the law and Jesus would not do that)
2. in the M-E, cousins are also called "Brothers"

NONSENSE.
THAT IS PREPOSTEROUS POSTULATION AND ASSUMPTION.
1. It assumes that a robust language could not and did not distinguish between siblings and cousins at all in any degree shape or form.
2. It assumes that the translators could not detect such distinctions.
UTTER NONSENSE.

Or, like the comedy juggling act, “Brothers with Different Mothers.”

2. in the M-E, cousins are also called "Brothers" Then what are cousins called, Idaho Potatoes???
Luk 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
So what's your excuse then for sisters??? Jesus had sisters as well....Or maybe we call them popsicles...
It's amazing the distance your religion will go to disprove the word of God to fit it's own unbiblical tradition...
