He has the right attitude. Being an ordinary Catholic can be awful, because the music is terrible, the liturgy is lame, and much of the post Vatican-II clergy is either on the undereducated or the heretical side. Plus you have liberals, gays and Muslims howling at the gates and trying to arrest or behead the Pope.
So when you come into the Church as it is now, you are really making a profound act of faith.
Almost like doing it back in 33AD, but with fewer crucifixtions and beheadings.
