And Mary had an innocent nature, too, and did not sin. Just like Eve should have done, but didn’t.

Mary is not the 2nd eve..that is NOWHERE found in scripture. Christ is the 2nd Adam, Eve was Adams wife not his mother. No where is it said or implied that Mary was the 2nd eve, that she was innocent or sinless. That is doctrine /tradition made up out of whole cloth.

Mary did not have an "innocent nature" because she was not created by God, she was born of a woman.. After the fall men were all born in the image of Adam with a fallen human nature. Now the RC stand is that God removed original sin from her... but that God preserved her from sinning never that she was born innocent..

Adam and Eve were innocent because they had never seen sin or death, those were foreign to them until they sinned.. Mary had seen both so she was not innocent of the effects of sin or the fall..

"Christ is the 2nd Adam", Where is that in the bible?

Christ is God, unlike Adam. Mary is human, like Eve.

It's almost funny how you point fingers and make accusations, and then turn around and make "non biblical" statements as well.

Mary being the "New Eve" is not in the bible, it is simply a description of what Mary represents in our Catholic doctrine. Sorry if you find that blasphemous.

So tell me, if you don't agree with the Catholic church why not simply, not go to Catholic church?

We live in a world of Judaism, Muslims, Buddhist, Hindus, New Age Churches, Athiests, etc., why would you choose to point fingers at the Catholic church who acknowledge Christ as our Savior?

Is that what your Pastor tells you? Is that what your "perfect" interpretation of the bible tells you is right?

I have to ask, because a few years ago my aunt started going to another "Christian" church. It wasn't a problem until, she refused to step foot in her parents house, because they were "idol worshipers". My Grandfather, who was a saint, and dedicated father of 12 children, died heartbroken shortly after. My aunt's, has since changed churches about 6 times, and at this point she is finally more grounded. The whole thing was scary and unhealthy. I still don't know what happened to her.

***Mary did not have an “innocent nature” because she was not created by God***

This statement right here is incorrect. EVERYONE is created by God! And we are not created in the image of Adam, we are created in the image of God! That is basic Christian belief. If God wanted to preserve Mary from sinning, make her spotless through the Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross, or whatever way He wanted to make sure that she was pure, who are we to argue? She was to be His mother - He could make her any way He wanted to! And when she was born, she had never seen sin or death, so your argument is not logical. And Jesus certainly saw the effects of sin and death, and yet He did not sin. (Yesterday’s Gospel reading was on His temptation by the devil in the wilderness.) Adam and Eve were innocent until they, by their own choice, disobeyed God. Why is it so hard to believe that there could be one person who loved God so much, that she never wanted to disobey God? Who wanted to please Him in everything? Sin is separation from God, and I don’t think it is far-fetched to believe that someone could love God so much that she never wanted to be separated from Him or displease Him.
