The Scenario:
Ever have one of those days when you’re feeling full of energy and vigor? I mean, you’re feeling just obnoxiously happy? Well, this is one of those days.
Driving home from work, you switch on the radio to see what’s happening, and you tune in to a local Protestant radio station just in time to hear a preacher speaking against various Catholic doctrines concerning Mary. The show is called Pastor Bob’s Bible Hour. Pastor Bob proclaims: “Jesus knew Catholics would come along and begin to worship His mother and call her perpetual virgin and absurd things like that. But the Bible says: ‘Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brethren James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all of His sisters with us?’ (Matt. 13:55-56a). And isn’t it sad, my brothers and sisters?”
Pastor Bob goes on to say: “Jesus dealt with these Mary worshippers in His day. In Luke 11:27-28, the Bible says, ‘A woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts that You sucked!” But He said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”’”
On a normal day you would probably just listen, take a few mental notes and drive on. But not this time. You’re feeling a little bit too saucy. You take the first exit you see and head for a phone. This is just one more reason why you need to buy that cell phone you’ve been talking about getting.

I believe that only God knows who will be saved, or not. I believe that the road to heaven is not easy (at least for me). I believe that I need God with all my heart and soul. I believe that we are all sinners, and only by the Grace of God will we be saved. I believe that only God knows our hearts and has enough mercy to forgive us. I believe in the Trinity, the resurrection of Jesus. I believe that Mary prays for us, as a good mother would, in our spiritual journey. I believe that God loves us beyond our limited knowledge. I believe the devil tries to decieve us constantly. I believe that God has a purpose for everyone in this world. I believe that life and death are decisions that only God can make. I believe that we have have God given Free Will. I believe that we have to constantly search for His word and His will for us in our lives. I believe that Jesus founded our church and allowed subsequent churches. I believe that Jesus warned us of false prophets. I believe that the devil uses God's word to decieve people.
I believe pride is a barrier between men and God. I KNOW that for God, love is the most important of God's commandments.

Furthermore, I think it’s kind of *icky* that they seem to want to know every last detail about Mary, as though they were physicians, wanting to examine her to be sure she was a sinless virgin, and what God did to make her pregnant...actually, it’s prurient and sickening, when you think about it.
Or are you more of the pretend college professor type? I didn't sign up for your course, I'm not going to take your final exam, and the idea of you grading me is laughable, in a pathetic sort of way.

I am a woman, and I can assure you I know the meaning of rape. It is the possession and use of my body without my consent. Your insistence on physical penetration as part of the definition is disgusting to me.
This is the point!
All this Marian heresy is doing is turning people from Jesus and having them bow down to statues of Mary. It is not based in Scripture. It does not glorify God. It is wrong!

Your belief system appears to me as a shapeless cloud, having no relation to God’s stated path to salvation in his word.
Believing that “the Devil” uses God’s perfect word to deceive, you must be in a prison of confusion. His word says that “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
You need to hear the word of God. You can do that by simply reading it aloud.
