The Scenario:
Ever have one of those days when youre feeling full of energy and vigor? I mean, youre feeling just obnoxiously happy? Well, this is one of those days.
Driving home from work, you switch on the radio to see whats happening, and you tune in to a local Protestant radio station just in time to hear a preacher speaking against various Catholic doctrines concerning Mary. The show is called Pastor Bobs Bible Hour. Pastor Bob proclaims: Jesus knew Catholics would come along and begin to worship His mother and call her perpetual virgin and absurd things like that. But the Bible says: Is not this the carpenters son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brethren James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all of His sisters with us? (Matt. 13:55-56a). And isnt it sad, my brothers and sisters?
Pastor Bob goes on to say: Jesus dealt with these Mary worshippers in His day. In Luke 11:27-28, the Bible says, A woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts that You sucked! But He said, Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!
On a normal day you would probably just listen, take a few mental notes and drive on. But not this time. Youre feeling a little bit too saucy. You take the first exit you see and head for a phone. This is just one more reason why you need to buy that cell phone youve been talking about getting.
Step One:

To love is to make a decision. I love them; I have an obligation to. I wish they repent. They may still be able to. But they did not love Christ, of course not. They scattered the flock. Their acts were evil. I pray for them.
What amazing psychic powers you have!
Or is it omniscience you're claiming?
Nonsense.
Though one could wish.
#### . . . ibid . . . John Ferraro's . . . TEN SERIES OF MEDITATIONS ON THE MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY . . . ####
p 83
"6 - . . . Mary was elevated to a certain equality with the Heavenly Father."
p 82
"3- No one will be saved nor obtain mercy except through you, O heavenly Lady."
p 32
"6 - She became Ruler of hell, that trembles at her slightest gaze and is defeated by her power."
p. 101
"1 = "To Mary we owe the cult of hyperdulia, that is, a very exceptional veneration."
[What a quaint way to white wash idolatrous worship!]
p101
"2- HOw can we fail to honor exceedingly her from whom all graces come to us."
p101
"5 - 'Therefore, let us venerate Mary with all the ardor of our heart . . . '"
p103
"4 - All graces pass from God to Jesus, from Jesus to Mary, and from Mary to us!"
That's just a fraction of the horrific stuff up through SERIES FOUR.
Yes, God regarded her humility, not her deification. And calling someone blessed is not akin to veneration or worship. Many in the Scriptures are called blessed-—including every forgiven sinner (Rom. 4).
Actually, the Three Persons of the Trinity share the same divinity. There is only one Godhead. The Holy Spirit's role in the Incarnation is not the way you portrayed it. You are correct, however, that Jesus received His humanity from His Mother Mary.

What most of you people are missing is the church is not a physical building nor a religion...
Please let us know
When the Vatican
withdraws it from the
DAUGHTERS OF ST PAUL
SANCTIONED PUBLISHABLE TITLES.
*IMPRIMATUR: RICHARD CARDINAL CUSHING; NIHIL OBSTAT: JOHN G HOGAN Diocesan Censor
Catholic/Orthodox liturgical prayers are pretty "formulaic," in the sense that Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is always invoked. You'll see them ending with sentences such as, "Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who Lives and reigns with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen."
That doesn’t matter!
What the Catholic actually intends to do—what’s really in his heart at that moment—doesn’t matter!
All that matters is what an anonymous omniscient anti-Catholic bigot SAYS the Catholic is doing....that’s what’s determinative here.
Not the Catholic...NOT the Catholic.
That begs the question:
Do you really thing Ferraro’s book (even with the Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat) is more authoritative than the Catechism of the Catholic Church?
Yep. The Catholic doesn't get to decide what is in his heart, YOU do. Right?
Congratulations, you agree with the Catholic Church!
“Congratulations, you agree with the Catholic Church!”
God regarded her humility.
The CC regards her as deified.
Perhaps the CC does.
The Catholic Church does not regard Mary as deified.
And, no, you don't get to change that.
Thanks for the excerpts, dear brother in Christ!
So were Americans during WWII. They were still considered GIs.
I asserted that Officials of the Vatican organization blessed it with their sanction and Imprimatur. THAT'S A FACT.
Dodging my points may be a habit . . . however, it is
NOT
dealing with the facts at all.
It is plenty official enough for tens of millions of Roman Catholics et al to be comforted that it's seen at least to some degree as quite proper for Roman Catholics et al to use in their Devotions; their thinking; their lives; their attitudes; their perspectives.
The Vatican has incredible resources and authority to remove the book from the publisher's titles. It clearly has not. It clearly has not because the values, wording, habits, attitudes etc. in the book are consistent with the attitudes and values at all levels of the organization.
That much is obvious . . .
certainly to those with a fraction of an ear to hear or a fraction of eyes to see.
Anything else is denial and obsfucation if not out right deception.
However, we are used to such in defense of idolatry and blasphemy hereon.
It is somewhat comforting, however, when Roman Catholics et al hereon obviously consider themselves to be
MORE
erudite, learned, with-it, kosher, smarter, in line, practiced,
about Roman Catholic et al dogma, doctrines, customs, rituals, attitudes and perspectives than
Richard Cardinal Cushing.
And they accuse Prottys of hubris!
