The Scenario:
Ever have one of those days when youre feeling full of energy and vigor? I mean, youre feeling just obnoxiously happy? Well, this is one of those days.
Driving home from work, you switch on the radio to see whats happening, and you tune in to a local Protestant radio station just in time to hear a preacher speaking against various Catholic doctrines concerning Mary. The show is called Pastor Bobs Bible Hour. Pastor Bob proclaims: Jesus knew Catholics would come along and begin to worship His mother and call her perpetual virgin and absurd things like that. But the Bible says: Is not this the carpenters son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brethren James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all of His sisters with us? (Matt. 13:55-56a). And isnt it sad, my brothers and sisters?
Pastor Bob goes on to say: Jesus dealt with these Mary worshippers in His day. In Luke 11:27-28, the Bible says, A woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts that You sucked! But He said, Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!
On a normal day you would probably just listen, take a few mental notes and drive on. But not this time. Youre feeling a little bit too saucy. You take the first exit you see and head for a phone. This is just one more reason why you need to buy that cell phone youve been talking about getting.
Step One:

lol, she had no pain, but she travailed. Have it your way.
You asked if I have a complex. I do not have a complex and was speculating on your motive for asking...perhaps you would like to sell me the materials I would need to build one.
Other than that, I have no idea.
Found any Romishans yet?
And it came to pass, in his saying these things, a certain woman having lifted up the voice out of the multitude, said to him, `Happy the womb that carried thee, and the paps that thou didst suck!'
And he said, `Yea, rather, happy those hearing the word of God, and keeping [it]!'
Yea in verse 28 means - ore than this : not only so but. Christ is actually affirming the woman's statement and simply adding to it something even better. Christ is restricting, correcting and amplifying, not denying the woman's statement It is like saying, "You're right, but real happiness comes from hearing the word of God, and keeping it." I am not Catholic, but that verse is abused and I am a big fan of the truth.
My apologies. I should have asked:
Found any Romanishans yet?
Forgive the misspelling, this group or people or race is new to me.
Did you even read my #352?
“Where in Scripture does it say NOT to talk to or pray to anyone in heaven?”
When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray he said “OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN”
Can you show from scripture where anyone actually prays to a resident of heaven other than the triune God?
“Where in Scripture is this mandate sola Scriptura?”
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God breathed. (Expired, proceeds from. inspired) The implication is that if it comes from the mouth of God it is all that we need. The words of all men are fallible. Only the very words of God can be trusted. Therefore what the Bible claims for itself is that it is Gods very own word.
<< Matthew 7 >>
1 JUDGE not, that you may not be judged,
2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 Any why seest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye; and seest not the beam that is in thy own eye?
4 Or how sayest thou to thy brother: Let me cast the mote out of thy eye; and behold a beam is in thy own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam in thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
This is a warning to JUDGE correctly...
It is so funny this is the scripture that even non Christians know.. because they think it condemns judging . In fact Jesus tells us over and over to judge things and people.
As for Scott..I am well familiar with him and his pet teachings that find a basis neither in Catholic or protestant doctrine.. He makes it up as he goes along as well .
Must have been some pregnancy
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
So that is the only prayer you ever say, right?
2 Timothy 3:16 is very right to praise the value of Scripture, but what is missing is the sola.
The implication is that if it comes from the mouth of God it is all that we need. The words of all men are fallible. Only the very words of God can be trusted. Therefore what the Bible claims for itself is that it is Gods very own word.
Uh uh uh! Those are your words, not Scripture. You cannot rely on them...only Scripture.
Perhaps sola Scriptura should be "Scripture alone except for the implications prefered by oworm."
You made the claim, where's your proof?
Thank you for your comments.
Acts 7:
He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years. 37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. 38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us
Exactly.. She can not be the queen of heaven because the Queen is married to the King, and the King is Her Son, not her husband..
So is she married to the Father so that she can be queen mother? ?
Scripture says the church is the bride of Christ.
There is simply no legal way Mary can be the queen of heaven
Does this question puzzle you, you have spent a lot of time evading it
What was the purpose of the various miracles of Christ?
Why do you presume the various miracles of Christ have but one purpose?
Because you say so?
LOL, yea the Protestants made up that tradition , because we wanted to deny Mary the crown of a queen . How silly !!!
Do you imagine God is confined by your dictionary?
You seem genuinely to not understand the role of His miracles in His mission..
I asked what it was,. And you have since played around the question for a lot of posts
So now you ask me
Why do you presume the various miracles of Christ have but one purpose?
I await your answer to the purpose(s) of Christ's miracles.
I believe God is a God of order. He is a judge that takes legalities seriously .
Catholics are the ones that are big on tradition, and imply that God is a god of tradition. So if that be so he would honor the traditional meaning and application of the title "queen ".
By the traditional and normal usage Mary can not be the queen of heaven.
