Nuts and Bolts - By Tim Staples: Mary Worshippers Need Not Apply
Envoy ^ | Tim Staples

The Scenario:

Ever have one of those days when you’re feeling full of energy and vigor? I mean, you’re feeling just obnoxiously happy? Well, this is one of those days.

Driving home from work, you switch on the radio to see what’s happening, and you tune in to a local Protestant radio station just in time to hear a preacher speaking against various Catholic doctrines concerning Mary. The show is called Pastor Bob’s Bible Hour. Pastor Bob proclaims: “Jesus knew Catholics would come along and begin to worship His mother and call her perpetual virgin and absurd things like that. But the Bible says: ‘Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brethren James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all of His sisters with us?’ (Matt. 13:55-56a). And isn’t it sad, my brothers and sisters?”

Pastor Bob goes on to say: “Jesus dealt with these Mary worshippers in His day. In Luke 11:27-28, the Bible says, ‘A woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts that You sucked!” But He said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”’”

On a normal day you would probably just listen, take a few mental notes and drive on. But not this time. You’re feeling a little bit too saucy. You take the first exit you see and head for a phone. This is just one more reason why you need to buy that cell phone you’ve been talking about getting.

Step One:

How is the stain of sin transmitted and how was she protected from it?

Well two turtle doves acted like Oxyclean once

The Blessed Mother was protected from original sin by God.

To produce a spectacular Mariology see the following instructions:

Mixing instructions:

In a shaker filled with ice cubes, combine the crème de menthe, crème de cacao, and Vodka. Shake well for about 6–8 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

I have family members—a sibling’s inlaws who are protestants—who always want to tell me about how much they love to go online and lie about how Catholics worship Mary. There are 35 of them, they’re all slow learners.

Do they say they are intentionally lying or is that your interpretation?

Because if they are intentionally lying they need to be called to accountability for that.

Using your analogy, Adam and Eve had a divine nature before the fall.

No, they had an innocent nature WITH THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE TO SIN.

According to some here, Mary was not capable of sin

Yes, we are well aware that you deny the Holy Trinity and the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

I have NEVER denied the divinity of Yah'shua.

I discern that either you have reading comprehension problem
or are deliberately prevaricating.

I do not believe in three gods nor three divine persons.

I follow Yah'shua who stated

29 Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL!
YHvH OUR Elohim IS ONE YHvH; Deut 6:4

John 14:9...Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father;
how can you say, 'Show us the Father '?

Now, I've seen some Protestants suggest that the Blessed Mother was incapable of saying no to the Incarnation and Virgin Birth, but I have never seen a Catholic suggest that she was incapable of sin? Are you sure you're not confusing the two?

I don’t call my Pastor “Blessed Pastor” on greeting or otherwise either.

What’s the official harmonology of Rome in relation to the transmitting of the stain of sin? Traducianism?

All you have to do is see the Pope kneeling down and praying to a statue of Mary to understand what’s going on. Former RC’s have said they were caught up in this heresy. We see it and know it for what it is, heresy.

YUP.

Actions speak a lot louder than words . . . and the actions AND words of many hereon similarly scream quite loudly on the matter.

I do not believe in three gods nor three divine persons.

So then, who is God, the Father or the Son?

What role do you believe the Holy Spirit plays?

“I don’t call my Pastor “Blessed Pastor” on greeting or otherwise either.”

And I don’t call mine “Father” as I only have two, one on earth and one in Heaven.

Dr. E and I both walk around with contstant targets on our backs.

At least we know the targets are not from certain someone’s pasting them on us when the glad hand us.

LOL.

Free-for-all’s would not likely help at all. And they’d be a big headache for FR.

It is important that ALL the mods do their utmost to be reasonably evenhanded in all their moderating—particularly about major contentious issues between chronically contentious camps.

However, even FR mods can have bad days or moments or whatever and I have no trouble extending grace on such. It would be nice for such to be owned and apologized for when it occurs.

On the whole, the moderating is the best of any website I know of.

May God be with each one of them in growth, wisdom, fairness, peace, & strength.

The only time I find the

APPARENT

moderating a concern . . . is when some Roman Catholics appear to be able to be very mean-spirited and nasty goads or collaborators in deliberately getting/using a mod to come down hard on one of their antagonists.

That feels very yucky. Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to happen very often. I’ve never observed this to happen when our faithful and extremely fair RM appears to be around.
