Maybe not.
From What? Muslim Leader Wants Temple Rebuilt:
Adnan Oktar, who uses the pen name of Harun Yahya, is a controversial but highly influential Muslim intellectual and author with more than 65 million of his books in circulation worldwide. Oktar recently met with three representatives from the re-established Jewish Sanhedrin, a group of 71 Orthodox rabbis and scholars from Israel, to discuss how religious Muslims, Jews and Christians can work together on the project.
Oktar added that the Temple of Solomon "will be rebuilt and all believers will worship there in tranquility." During his meeting with the Sanhedrin Rabbis, Oktar expressed his belief that the Temple could be rebuilt in one year:
"It could be done in a year at most. It could be built to the same perfection and beauty. The Torah says it was built in 13 years, if I remember correctly. It could be rebuilt in a year in its perfect form."
Apparently it won't take them very long to get the Temple constructed once they start.
And the fact that they basically have all the utensils either made or found necessary to conduct sacrifices, they have the alter built, and they have Levitical men in the process of training to conduct the rituals and sacrifices tells us that once that they begin construction on the Temple, everything could be in progress within a year after the building starts.
Okay so lets say they can get it done in 1 yr.
Dan 9:27 ...But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
The AC stops Temple practices 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation and I believe this is when the 2 witnesses are killed. That would mean the Temple is under construction 1 yr prior to the Tribulation. Also, prior to this is probably the 1st war of Gog and Magog and preceding that is probably the war noted in Psalm 83.
I do believe in a Pre-Trib Rapture, but I don't think it will occur much before the Tribulation. If I'm correct that means we will see several of these events occur.
As always I'm interested in your thoughts or those of anyone else who takes prophesy seriously.
