Joe should've NEVER ventured anywhere near religion. He had no clue. He only helped write that bogus bOm for a quick cash flow. We know that. Sad. Bad karma.
But he did.
He created a cult.
Joe Smith was a con man and a sheister. We know that. But the saddest thing in the Utah/Arizona world is that folks hand over their hard-earned money (tithings) to that cult.
