One element of our mission in the Mideast is to convince the local populations that the United States supports their religious identity - hearts and minds. When AQ sees this kind of thing they can use it as a tool to convince the people we are trying to sway that in fact the US is waging a war on Islam and not on terrorists - after all, we've got a biblical passage printed right on our weapons. We are fighting people that will blow themselves and others to smithereens over a cartoon - what does a Bible verse on a rifle say? This is a perfect recruiting tool for AQ.

"Winning hearts and minds"...yeah, that worked real well in Vietnam. 'Bout as well as it's working in the Muslim world.
It's time to quit screwing around and fight this thing as a war, not a damn PR operation! If that means borrowing a little of God's Righteous Might and stamping it onto night sights used by our boys to kill Muzzie scumbags in the dark, I say more power to 'em.
