I didn’t defend polygamy during the FLDS raids. I defended the LDS from attacks by people insinuating that FLDS was really LDS, and I objected to how the government was acting.
Objecting to government actions against a group is not the same as defending the group. I found the whole FLDS compound repugnant, but my personal dislike does not mean I think the government has the right to trample on people’s rights, or to tear hundreds of kids away from their mothers.
But I don’t mean to be arguing that again, just noting that my defense was NOT of “polygamists”.
Just as here I am not defending the religion, just saying that I see nothing wrong with two groups I don’t belong to working together to help people.
If I were LDS, I would be disturbed by the allegations of the LDS church working with muslims such as what you post here. But I’m not — and further, that wasn’t the topic of the thread, so it’s not the “associations” I was defending.
Ummm, I see, I guess. :{
You just so often crop up on these threads. I do too, but I have a vested interested in all things Mormon since it is my heritage and the religion of my family. These discussions are of great interest to me. So again I will state that you are one of the biggest non-mormon supporters of mormonism I have seen on this site. Obviously that is from my perspective and IMO.

What insinuation?
Flds are the ones following GOD's WORDs in D&C132 - NOT the bunch from SLC!
