Catholic ping!
Grew up being taught the beauty of Christ’s philosophy. Breaks my heart to see Christianity attacked in our day as a destructive force. It’s pure hate for a religion of love.
How funny, Britt Hume was asked his view on Tiger Woods, he gave an honest answer, and of course for some, that answer, Faith in the Redemption that Christ offers is some sort of scandal.
Good for Britt Hume, ask a simple question, expect an honest answer.
Great analysis. Thanks.

I was watching Sunday and saw/heard Brit. I was thrilled he would say this.
I saw this. Brit was wonderful - straightforward and honest. I hope Tiger takes Brit’s advice.
I must’ve missed this: puts in perspective how petty the arguments sometimes are between Christians.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
Men love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. I pray Tiger lives in Eph 5 for a while. I pray our nation lives there as well. I pray I live there.
holy crap, he gave his opinion when asked!! he should be drawn and quartered!!!!
Jesus was very exclusive and narrow-minded: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” And He is right!
I saw it and was impressed and startled. When does anything like that ever happen? Cheers for Brit!

**Whether he can recover as a person [...] it seems to me, depends on his faith. Hes said to be a Buddhist. I dont think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So my message to Tiger would be, Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.**
Blessings for 2010 to Brit Hume. What a fellow!
God bless Brit for not being ashamed of the Gospel as so many Christians—even believing Christians—are.

“Tiger Woods will recover as a golfer. Whether he can recover as a person I think is a very open question, and it’s a tragic situation for him. I think he’s lost his family, it’s not clear to me if he’ll be able to have a relationship with his children, but the Tiger Woods that emerges once the news value dies out of this scandal — the extent to which he can recover — seems to me to depend on his faith. He’s said to be a Buddhist; I don’t think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So my message to Tiger would be, ‘Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.’”
