But I also wont fault a pasture for praying for our countries leaders if they handle it right. My Pasture (a solid Reagan conservative) prays for him this way, that Obama and all of our elected representatives makes decisions pleasing to God.
I thought they were telling us to pray to Obama.

I pray for Pres. Obama daily! Mostly that Mr. Zero will have a “Damascus Road” experience with the spirit of Renauldus Maximus!

You and Manning don’t believe in the power of God? I’m praying that he be unelected or removed from office ASAP. But since we’re stuck with him, and he is my fellow man, I’m also praying for his conversion, wisdom, and the healing of whatever drives his hatred for America.
I’m not going to waste my time listening to Manning’s endless prattle, but since Manning is a convicted felon, scam artist, a one-man fraudulent “university”*, fake doctor*, and segregationalist**, I’d think Manning might understand the notion of forgiveness, repentance and conversion.
(* He is the sole professor of a “university” which has granted himself his own doctorate. IOW, he has said, “I declare myself a doctor. Now I can charge exhorbitant fees for my seminars!)
(** He believes whites should be driven from black “homelands,” such as northern Manhattan, the Bronx, etc.)
Praying TO Obama? That’s why he’s named himself, “O.”
As in: “Deliver us, O, Lord...”
Obama has said “My Muslim faith”, so I do believe he is in need of prayers for Salvation and much more.
As long as he takes his ungodly positions slowly he can justify it to himself and to others. Pray that they would overtake him swiftly and uncontrollably so that he would have to repent of them and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ as his only hope of Salvation.

Your Pastor is so correct, we are to pray for our leaders. Please Lord trouble them in any way, within your will, to turn them back to you, that they may govern in a Godly way. Please Lord, convict their hearts, that they may know of their need for You. Please Lord, let them seek your face an guidance.

You are most welcome. Every night as I go to bed and I say my final prayers of the day, I ALWAYS ask that God intervene in these people’s lives and MAKE them see and understand the truth, that they would seek His will in making decisions and not their own. I realize that it is a hard prayer for a lot of people to make, but we are required too do it. We do not have to pray for their success. We can ask God to defeat their proposals. We can ask God that His will be done and not their abortion, homosexual ways of doing things. That we have to do.
